Jack H. Burchfield

Jack H. Burchfield, 79, of Austin, passed away at home October 16, 2021. He was born June 28, 1942, in Halley, Arkansas, to the late Oba Burchfield and Allean Johnson. Jack was hired as a Farmers Insurance Agent and after two short years became one of the company's largest District Managers. Over the next 38 years he built one of the largest districts with the company. Jack also loved hunting and golf, but family meant the world to him. Jack is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Billy Burchfield, Charles Burchfield, and Larry Burchfield; sister, Ruth "Sis" Clark; and son, Keith Burchfield. Jack leaves behind his loving wife of 26 years, Debbie Burchfield; children, Rachel Burchfield Norman (Keith), John S. Burchfield (Michelle), Autumn Brossett, and Tyler Travis; grandchildren Jackson, Emma, and Evan Norman, Gabe, Aden, Easton, and Heidi Brossett, Millie, and Rhett Travis, Taylor Logan (Austin), Jared Kerley, and Cassandra Kinder; brother, Bob Burchfield (Peggy); sister-in-law's, Kathy and April Burchfield, and Brenda Garrison; brother-in-law, Billy Clark; and many more extended family and friends. Jack's Visitation will be Thursday, October 21, 2021, at 10 a.m., at The Assembly of Cabot, 2100 North Second Street, in Cabot. Funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Sylvania Cemetery, off of Arkansas 321 in Ward, Arkansas.
