Cheri Lee Davidson Furrow, 91, of Little Rock, passed away September 4, 2021, of Covid 19 complications. She was born to the late William and Lydia Davidson, August 7, 1930, in Rogers, Ark. Cheri Lee graduated from Mount Saint Mary Academy in 1948 and received a BA in Mathematics from the University of Arkansas. She married the late Charles David Furrow and they resided in Springdale, Ark., later relocating in 1961 to West Memphis, Ark. Cheri enjoyed a long career with AT&T that began as a telephone operator with Southwestern Bell in 1970. She was a dedicated employee and was quickly promoted to a technical position and relocated to Little Rock, Ark., with her three children. She loved her job and proudly retired with over 30 years of service in 2001. Cheri was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in North Little Rock, Ark. She had a big and vibrant personality and loved to be in the middle of things. She loved to read, travel, play bridge, attend plays and the symphony, but especially she loved to spend time with her numerous grandchildren. She was an avid sports fan and refused to be ashamed that she loved the Dallas Cowboys. Cheri was preceded in death by her husband, David; numerous brothers: Mark; Walter; James; Victor; Marion; Little Joe; and Willis, a sister Virginia and by her beloved grandson Christopher. She is survived by her three children: David (Dea) Furrow of Deltona, Fla.; Karla Allen of Little Rock; and Craig (Brandy)Furrow of Sherwood, five grandchildren: Sarah Mojena of Deltona, Fla.; Corey Allen of Fayetteville, Ark.; Alex Hargues of Shawnee, Okla., Kaleigh Woodard of Olathe, Kan., and Danielle Furrow of Cabot, Ark., and three great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to benefit the Little Rock Zoo through the Arkansas Zoological Foundation (AZF). A donation link can be found on AZF's website.
