Juanita Adele Marks, 79, of White Hall, died Saturday, September 11, 2021, at her home. She was born October 24, 1941, in San Francisco, Calif. She was retired from the Arkansas Department of Corrections after a 28 year career, and was a member of Central Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going out to eat, and going to the movies or traveling. She was especially fond of camping and fishing with her family. She loved needle pointing and crocheting, as well as watching reality shows and sci-fi shows. She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen Rodgers and Delbert Vaughn, Sr.; her husband, Billy G. Marks; two brothers, Victor Vaughn and Delbert Vaughn, Jr.; and a granddaughter, Katie Anderson. She is survived by her children, Clinton Anderson (Gayle), Lynn James (Tommy), Brian Anderson (Susan), Gregory Anderson, and Lisa Hunt; her grandchildren, Aaron Young, Kadi Maxwell, Matthew James, Leah Hunt, Zachary Hunt, Tyler James, Jacob Anderson, Kate Spratlin, Lucas Anderson, Zachary Anderson, Kyle James, and Campbell Spratlin; six great-grandchildren, A.J., Angelina, and Drake Young, Dani and Dylan Maxwell, and Elliot James; her siblings, Joanne Pottsman, Kay Vaughn, Joseph Cervin, Bobby Cervin, and Margaret Klein; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Central Baptist Church with Dr. Jordan Ferris officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, September 15, at Robinson and Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel.
