Jimmie Sue Riley

Jimmie Sue ‘Ward' Riley, 62, of Little Rock went home to be with the Lord on September 19, 2021, after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her daughter Kristy Lynn Cox, her father Jimmie ‘Boss' Ward, grandparents Prentice and Lena Shelby, and James N. Ward and Clara Legate. She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Jim Riley; mother Wanda Mealler of El Paso; daughters, Ashley (Bobby) Douglas of Jacksonville, Brandy Cox, of Little Rock, Alisha (Hung) Nguyen of Texas, Jamie (Daniel) Miley of California, and Stacie (Gary) Farnam of Plainview; a son, Matt (Shannon) Riley of Little Rock; 18 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her beloved pets, Ricky and Ryan; sisters, Gail ‘Ward' Evans and Donna Benson of El Paso; brother, Ky Andersen of Little Rock; aunt Vaunda (Danny) Sledge of El Paso; and a host of nieces and nephews. She had many friends. She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held on October 16, 2021 at 3 p.m., followed by a celebration of life at Fraternal Order of Eagles, 6200 Aerie Street, Little Rock, Ark. 72209. Everyone is welcome.
