Jerry Roland Carwile

Jerry Roland Carwile passed away at home on September 24, 2021. He was born on January 22, 1938, in Ft. Worth, Texas, the son of Hugh and Ruth Martin Carwile. He worked as a salesman for the majority of his life, in wholesale industries and life insurance. He worked over 20 years in the refrigeration and heating/cooling business, then as a warehouse worker for Walmart. He was a licensed minister, who performed countless marriages. He was also an active member and leader in various churches. For the past 30 years, he was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bentonville. Mr. Carwile was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Jerry Don Carwile. He is survived by his wife, Judy Ann Pitt Carwile; daughters, Joyce Durst of Austin, Texas, Jerrese Fancher of Rogers, Ark., Janna Carwile of Richardson, Texas; his brother, Richard Byers of Maryville, Tenn.; niece, Melody Hull; nephew, Fred Byers; and grandchildren, Daniel Estes of North Richland Hills, Texas, and Joy Estes of Arlington, Texas. Memorial Services will be held in the parlor of the First Baptist Church of Bentonville on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021, at 3 p.m., the Rev. Jo Jones officiating.
