BETTY JEAN HEALEY SCHALLER, 93, of North Little Rock, passed away Dec. 2, 2022.
She was born June 28, 1929, in Laura Town, Ark., to Earl S. and Willie Mae Healey. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 74 years, Walter F. Schaller, Jr., sister Maxine Halstead; granddaughter, Valerie Linker; and infant daughter, Rebecca Schaller.
Betty was a member of Levy Church of Christ in North Little Rock. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and being with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Smith and husband Charles; son, Walter Carey; grandson, Josh Smith and wife Blake; grandson-in-law, Jeff Linker; great-grandchildren, Daulton Linker, Sloan Linker, Cash Smith, Carter Smith and Bonham Smith, all of North Little Rock; step great-grandchildren, Axel Birdsong and Delia Murry; and sisters, Kathleen Snyder, Earlene Anderson and husband John of DeKalb, Illinois, and Marie Douglas and husband Fred of Heber Springs.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, Dec. 7, at 11 a.m. with visitation at 10 a.m., at Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock. Interment will be private at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
