Mary Gail Haywood Ezelle, better known as Gail, 88, died December 2, 2022, at the Quapaw Care and Rehabilitation Center with family by her side in Hot Springs, Ark. Gail was born April 5, 1934, in Houston, Texas and moved to reside in Hot Springs in 1979. She is predeceased by her husband, Ralph Wayne Ezelle, Sr., of Hot Springs. She graduated from Byrd High School in Shreveport, La., and attended Centenary College also in Shreveport. Gail was an active and involved member of the St Luke's Episcopal Church and was a member of a number of Hot Springs boards and organizations; Salvation Army Board; National Senior Games; 38-year member, Board of Trustees, National Park College; Past President of Arkansas PTA; Director, Senior Arkansas Sports Organization established in 1993, and was very involved in local leadership; National Park Rotary Club; Red Coats, Blue Coats and was an educational lobbiest. Ms. Ezelle is survived by her sons; Ralph Wayne Ezelle, Jr., and wife Monica; Christopher H. Ezelle and wife Nancy; Stephen L. Ezelle and wife Ginger; Daniel E. Ezelle, Sr. and wife Debbie, and daughter Katherine Dawne Brooks and husband Claude, and Jacquie Foster. Gail has 11 grandchildren: Mandie, Jennifer, Celeste, Brittany, BreAnna, Nikki, Michelle, Daniel "DJ", Jr, Alexis, Stephani, and Brooklin. She also has 13 great-grandchildren; Caleb, Zane, Yvette, Luxi, Xavier, Trinity, Reagan, Ari, Luke, Max, Lucas, Kayleigh, and Baryett. She has one great-great-grandchild, Creed and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday, December 8th at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Online condolences at www.caruth-hale.com
