Alvin L. "Brother" Terry, Jr.

ALVIN "BROTHER" TERRY JR., 73, of Little Rock, transitioned peacefully into eternity Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022, after a valiant battle with a debilitating illness. His faith was grounded in his upbringing at Union A.M.E. Church. He graduated from LR Central High and had earned a master's degree. Alvin was an honorably discharged Marine veteran and retiree from the U.S. Postal Service. Survivors are his four children, Alvin "Trey" Terry, III (Karen), Dawn Williams, Jerilyn and Robin Terry; grandchildren, Channing Williams and Camden Terry; sister, Mildred "Millie" Terry-Hill (Anthony); and five nieces and a nephew, including a very special niece/caregiver Lisa Norwood. Cremation services entrusted to Walton GateWay Funeral Chapel, "Where Caring and Quality Come First", 2405 S. Gaines Street-LR. Graveside memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at Haven of Rest Cemetery, 7102 W. 12th Street-LR.
