Eva Phillips, 90, of Russellville, Ark., died Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022 at her home in Russellville, Ark. The daughter of Jahue and Bronnie Ardelle Stacks Clendenin, she was born July 6, 1932 in Guy, Ark. Eva worked as a receptionist and in marketing at First National Bank, Russellville. She was a member of Fair Park Baptist Church for over 50 years. Eva was a member of the American Legion Auxillary. She enjoyed reading and cooking, and loved to try new recipes. Eva never met a stranger.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Matt Phillips; son, William Everett "Bill" Phillips; son in law, John William Russell; granddaughter, Christina "Christy" Avery.
Eva is survived by a daughter, Diana Avery of Cuba, MO.; sister, Joyce LaVonne Donahou (Ed) of Russellville, Ark.; niece, Robin Soliz of Lowell, Ark.
