Marlin Brice Robertson

Bossier City, LA, 1939 - 2022

Marlin Brice Robertson, 83, was born on March 17, 1939, in Shreveport, Louisiana to James and Margaret Head and passed away on Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, in Bossier City, Louisiana.
She graduated from C.E. Byrd High School and Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where she received her Bachelor's degree in English. She also studied abroad at the University of Mexico. She returned to Shreveport to teach English at C.E. Byrd.
With her deepest love for her family, she leaves the following sentiments: "I was predeceased by my beloved parents, Margaret and J. Brice Head and my beloved husband, Willard, whose indomitable spirit carried me through life.
The lights of my life were my two sons, Robbie and Chris, and their wives, Kristy and Becki were the daughters I never had.
My six grandchildren, Jennifer, Christopher, Joshua, Rachal, Everett and Alex, and my four great grandchildren, Mason, Max, Brooklyn and Knox were the stars in my crown.
I always knew that the meaning of love is reflected in the eyes of your grandchildren. There was nothing extraordinary about my life except the blessings bestowed upon me by my beautiful family and the wonderful years we had together."
"As the profit anguished when he knew he must leave the land and his people, he heard the words: Ever has it been that love knows not its own depth until the hour of its separation." Kahlil Gibran
