Elizabeth Ann Hoffman

of Little Rock, AR, 1946 - 2022

ELIZABETH ANN WWESTLAKE HOFFMAN (BETSY) passed away December 3, 2022. She
was born to Mary and Noble Charles Westlake on March 12, 1946. She was
predeceased by her parents and four siblings-Charles, James, Mary and Richard.
Betsy graduated from Henderson State University with a major in history and
minors in political science and French. She was awarded a fellowship to Texas
Women's University where she received a Master of History. In 1972, she
married Harvey Hoffman. They divorced in 1978.
Betsy did not let her epilepsy define her. She touched the lives of many through her volunteering in public schools, Boys' and Girls' Clubs, and at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock. For many years she provided hundreds of homemade greeting cards in a ministry to prisoners and shut ins. Betsy attended the Unity Class at First United Methodist Church, Little Rock. She
was a resident of the Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at Good Shepherd. Her
church family is grateful for the attentive care of Good Shepherd and Arkansas Hospice. A service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Children's Ministry, First United Methodist Church, Little Rock, 723 Center St., 72201.
