Marty Leroy McCraney was born on August 9, 1959 in Little Rock, Ark., to the late Alfred McCraney Sr. and Annie Grace Piggee McCraney. He attended Joe T. Robinson High School
and graduated with the class of 1977. He accepted Christ at an early age at Marks Chapel United Methodist Church. He later joined McCabe United Methodist Church, where he remained until his transition.
Marty leaves to cherish his memories to his wife of 27 years, John McCraney; four daughters, Grace McCraney, Carmen "Paige" McCraney, Octavia (Justin) Phillips, and Amanda
Pickett; one grandson, Ja'Lynn McCraney; two sisters, Shelia (William Ray) Richardson and Kimberly (Johnny) Stafford; one brother, Alfred "Tommy" (Danielle) McCraney; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be held at Faithful Funeral Home 7727 Colonel Glenn Rd. Little Rock, Ark., at 10 a.m., December 17, 2022. Visitation will be Friday December 16, 2022, from 1-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
