ROBERT "BOBBY" LEE KINNISON, 80, of Jacksonville, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022. Bobby was born on December 17, 1941, in Olla, La., to the late Henry W. and Kathryn Martin Kinnison. He retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1979 and spent the next 25 years working for Falcon Jet. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty Dixon Kinnison; children, Michael (Melinda) Kinnison of North Little Rock, Patrick (Judy) Kinnison of Cabot; siblings, Henry Kinnison, Jr. of Farmerville, La., Donald Kinnison of Baton Rouge, La., Edward Kinnison of Cordova, Tenn., Susan Henderson of Jonesville, La.; four grandchildren, Christopher (Samantha) Kinnison, Kathryn (Jonathan) Williams, Sarah Kinnison, Andrew Kinnison; two great-grandchildren, Henry Kinnison and Peter Kinnison.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, December 19, 2022, at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at the funeral home followed by burial with military honors at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
