Clara Maud Woodruff

Clara Maud Woodruff, age 84, of Benton, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2022. She was born August 12, 1938, in Camden, Ark. Clara was a homemaker and a member of Highway Church of Christ. She loved quilting, was the rock for her family, enjoyed cooking, and had enough love for all she met. Clara had an infectious laugh and a smile that lit up a room. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Cecil Doss; husband, Charles Lewis Woodruff Sr.; sister, Alice Kuyper; and a daughter-in-law, Christel Throckmorton. Clara is survived by her three children, Annette Woodruff (Christel-deceased), Melanie Woodruff, and Charles Woodruff Jr. (Dawn); five grandchildren, Justin Woodruff (Caroline), Iris Rodriguez (Josh Moen), Alex Riser (Ashley), Andy Riser (Michaela), and Linda Wilson (Brandon) and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m., Thursday, December 22 at Highway Church of Christ with services beginning at 11:00. Steven Ford will be officiating.
