William Franklin "Frank" Shane Karnes

William Franklin "Frank" Shane Karnes, 49, of West Fork, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022 in Fayetteville. He was born August 30, 1973 in Fayetteville to Donald and Shirley McKenzie Karnes. He was preceded in death by his father Donald Karnes. Frank was a retired machinist with Conagra. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his mother, Shirley Karnes; his wife, Christie Hankins Karnes of the home; two sons, Zane Karnes of West Fork and Chad Wood of Westville, OK; three daughters, Heather Karnes of Greenland, Lexie Karnes of Prairie Grove and Amber Sidebottom and son-in-law Casey Sidebottom of West Fork; two brothers, Yancey Karnes and Danny Doiel, both of Fayetteville; and four grandchildren, Jaxon Sidebottom, Keaton Fletcher, Aubree Sidebottom and Sadie Sidebottom. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Beard's Chapel. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Beard's Chapel with Pastor David Jones officiating.
