Helen Frieda (Dittmer) Jones, age 93, of Rogers died Friday, December 16, 2022, at her home. She was born December 5, 1929, in Concordia, Mo., the daughter of Frieda Meyers and Emil Dittmer.
She enjoyed antiquing, Kansas State Women's Basketball, traveling, and playing cards with friends and family. She was a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and part-time secretary.
Helen moved to the Northwest Arkansas area in May 2013 from Salina, Kan. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church located in Rogers.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, her husband, Norman Jones, and four siblings.
Helen is survived by one son; Philip T. Jones and his wife Ruth, of Columbus, Indiana, one daughter; Nancy Jones and her husband Phil Lewis, of Rogers, one sister; Jean Mills, of Independence, Mo., three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Rogers, from 10 a.m., until noon.
A celebration of Helen's life will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Rogers with Rev. Eric Longman officiating.
