Shelby Jean Warren

SHELBY JEAN WARREN of North Little Rock, passed away on December 17, 2022. She was born on February 14, 1940, in Powhatan, Va., to the late Henry and Louise Johnson. Jean was a loving wife and mother. She was a homemaker most of her life and was fully dedicated to her family. She always put family first with Christ at the center. She read her Bible daily and always found something new that applied to her life with each reading. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Otha Warren, Jr.; grandson, Adam Wood; brothers, Charles Steven Johnson and Russell Johnson; brother-in-law, Delbert Warren and sister-in-law Betty Sue Bates. Jean is survived by her daughter, Linda (David) Wood of North Little Rock; son Wayne (Normandy) Warren of Sheridan; grandchildren, Katie (Clay) Bewley, Dr. Wade Warren and Casey (Brittany) Warren; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Oliver and Owen Bewley; brothers, Price Johnson, Kenneth Johnson and John Johnson; brother-in-law Raymond Warren and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke with a visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Cabot.
