Dale Dyer, 76, of Bella Vista, passed from this life Friday, December 16, 2022, at Circle of Life Hospice Home in Bentonville. He was surrounded by friends and loved ones. Dale was born in December of 1946 in Los Angeles, Calif. He grew up in Los Angeles and Oklahoma City, Okla. He graduated college at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah with dual bachelor's degrees in psychology and marketing. He moved to Jonesboro, Ark., in 1980, where he married and had his only son, Walker. He lived in this community and was a very active golfer and outdoorsman. He was very involved in junior golf including volunteering for First Tee and could frequently be found at the Jonesboro country club. Dale never met a stranger and left a lasting impression to those who had the pleasure of making his acquaintance. Dale spent much of his career working in the financial services industry with Wolters Kluwer, formerly Bankers Systems. After a very successful 30+ year career Dale retired December of 2011. Dale was well respected amongst his co-workers and customers. During his career he earned many achievements including the Diamond Ring Award and the Presidential Award and he also qualified for many incentives trips to exotic destinations such as Singapore, Australia, and Hawaii. Dale was a dear friend to many of his co-workers and will be sadly missed by many. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Yvonne. He is survived include his son, Walker (Cassie) Dyer of Bentonville; his siblings, Don (Nancy) Dyer and Cathy (Nick) Fitzgerald; and three grandchildren, Eloise, Jack, and Julian of Bentonville. A memorial service will be held privately. In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family has requested donations be made to The First Tee of NWA, 715 E. Monroe Ave., Lowell, Ark., 72745.
