Pamela Sue Kennan

Pamela Sue Kennan was born June 13, 1955, to Dewey and Laverne Hester in Lubbock, Texas. She was married to Steve Kennan October 4, 1975 as life-long residents of Fayetteville and has two brothers with their families that reside in Farmington. Pam has two daughters, Laura Bennett and Jill Jorgensen, and a son-in-law, Justin Jorgensen, all of Fayetteville, and was blessed with four wonderful grandsons, Colin Bennett, Carter Bennett, Jaxson Jorgensen, and Hudson Jorgensen. There was nothing in this world she loved more than being "cubbie" to her four grandsons and cheering them on at every single game they played. Pam left this world peacefully Tuesday, December 20th, at 3:22 p.m., surrounded by her daughters and husband of 47 years. Her loving heart for family, friends, and animals alike will leave a huge void for all that were fortunate enough to have known her. We will celebrate her life with a visitation Tuesday, December 27th, at Moore's Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m., with services Wednesday, December 28th at Son's Chapel at 2 p.m. The family would be honored to have any and all attend to pay their respects. In lieu of flowers the family would like to ask that you make a donation in her honor to any animal shelter or St. Jude's Children's Hospital. If you knew Pam you knew how much she enjoyed working with kids volunteering at junior golf at Paradise Valley for many years, laying in the sunshine by the pool or at the beach with her friends, and caring for any and every animal that crossed her path. She had a heart filled with love for so many and instilled in her daughters and grandsons to never turn a shoulder to anyone in need; you never know what they have endured. Although this world has lost a mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and friend she struggles no longer in this world, forever walking the beach feeling the sunshine and collecting seashells along the way.
