Walter Curtis Staggs, 83, of Jonesboro passed away on December 21, 2022. He was born May 26, 1939, to Tom and Beulah Staggs in Earle, Ark.; Walter was a graduate of Trumann High School and long-time resident of Blytheville.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Phyllis Staggs; son, Rodney Staggs (Katie), of Little Rock; and daughter, Alicia Rose (Stephen) of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Olivia and Jon Thomas Staggs, and Will, Caroline, and Matthew Rose.
Family will receive visitors at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro on Tuesday, December 27, from 10-11 a.m. Service will follow at 11. Interment will be at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
