Brian Linn Pugh

Brian Linn Pugh, age 71, was born to Laurence J. and Helen Lewis Pugh, on January 13, 1951, in Burlington, Colo. He died in Harrison, Ark., on Christmas Eve, 2022. In the summer of 1952, one-year-old Brian moved with his family to Harrison, where Brian later attended school, graduating from Harrison High School in 1969. He was an alumnus of Draughon's Business School in Springfield, Mo. Brian was a member of Elks Lodge 2311, Harrison, and First United Methodist Church, Harrison. Brian was an avid sports fan, especially the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Los Angeles Dodgers. He was also a devotee of classic television shows, especially "Perry Mason" and "Gunsmoke." Brian also enjoyed discussing politics, especially on the national level. Brian was predeceased by his parents; and an older brother, Evan Larry Pugh; as well as a younger brother, Steven Lee Pugh. Brian is survived by two older brothers, Allan Lewis Pugh and wife Carolyn Chalfant Pugh of Hazelwood, Mo., and Owen Lloyd Pugh and wife Gretchen Pratt Pugh of Tulsa, Okla. Brian is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Special among Brian's friends are Bob and Judy Chambers of Harrison. The Pugh family offers appreciation to the staff at The Springs at Harrison Health and Rehabilitation for their care and assistance during Brian's final few years. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Maplewood Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
