It is with sad hearts that we share with you the passing of our loving mom, Dorothy Lee Goff, age 83, of Benton. Dotty was born December 28, 1938 in Springfield, Mo., and unexpectedly passed away during the early morning hours December 25, 2022, Christmas Day in Hot Springs, Ark. Dotty was an abundantly loving, caring and vibrant mom, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her deep devotion to her family, friends, and spiritual commitment to God were her most inspirational traits. It didn't matter who you were, what you believed, or where you came from, she would always greet you with her open arms and a loving smile, welcoming you to sit and visit for a while. After serving along side her husband for many years as a supportive military wife, packing up and moving every year and a half, all while raising four kids, she and Leon decided to retire and hit the RV life. Their travels took them around this country for 20-plus years, working together, making new friends, volunteering and managing RV campgrounds and corp parks, ensuring everyone visiting would have an enjoyable experience. There were not many travelers in RV parks around this country that didn't know my mom. She leaves to cherish the wonderful memories: her husband of 65 years, Leon H. Goff; four children, Bill Goff and wife Marty, Jeff Goff and wife Dana, Tracy Goff and wife Carrie, Teresa Goff Middlebrooks and husband Allen; 11 grandkids and 11 great-grandkids. Visitation and service information: Centerpoint Church, 20383 I-30, Benton, Ark. Visitation will be held January 3rd at 10:30, followed by the service at 12:00. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Centerpoint Church at address above, the Humane Society of Saline County at 7600 Hwy 183, Bauxite, Ark. 72011, or New Life Baptist Church at 300 Pakis St, Hot Springs, Ark. 71913.
