Pauline Bauer Mueller

Pauline Bauer Mueller, age 94, of Fayetteville, Ark., passed from this life Tuesday, December 27, 2022. She was born December 12, 1928, in Munich, Germany. Preceding her in death were her parents, Alfons Bauer and Paula Finch Bauer, her husbands, Joseph William Kittinger, Jr, and Arthur John Mueller. Pauline was a retired secretary in the entomology department at the University of Arkansas. Survivors are her sons, Joseph William Kittinger, III, M.D., of Wilmington, North Carolina, Mark Steven Kittinger, of Longwood, Fla.; four grandchildren, Jack Kittinger, Ph.D., of Honolulu, Hawaii, Brooke Weinberger, PAC, of Lafayette, Colo., Benjamin Kittinger, M.D. of Owensboro, Ky., Mitchell Kittinger of Orlando, Fla., and eight great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are preferred to Cape Fear Council, Boy Scouts of America, P.O. Box 7156, Wilmington, N.C., 28406. The family wishes to express gratitude and appreciation to Joan Hogan, for being such a wonderful friend and companion to Pauline.
