Joyce Marie Canada

Joyce Marie Canada, 87, of Benton passed away December 28, 2022. She was born April 18, 1935, in Little Rock, Ark., to Claude and Opal Horton. Joyce was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and ceramics. She worked on her family's farms in Michigan and Arkansas. She also owned Canada Trucking in Benton with her second husband. Those left to cherish her memory are her children: James Troup, Claudia Troup Malloy, Vernon (Shirley) Troup, David Troup, Timothy Troup, and Teresa Canada-Beck; grandchildren: Douglas, Christina, Phillip, Daniel, Holly, Melissa, Michelle, Stephanie, Brenna and Laura; great grandchildren: Lenae, Alyssa, Katie, Cora, Alex, Ian, Caleb, Cameron, Ethan, Rue, Joshua, and Nichole; great great grandchildren: Ayden and Joyce; sister, Juanita Davis; and numerous extended family. She was preceded in death by two husbands: Floyd Troup and Elmore Canada; her parents; great grandchildren: Lane Wyatt Nichols and Nicholas Joe Harvey; and siblings: Ollie, Charles, Robert, Claude, Jr. Horton, and Lorene Stephens. Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Monday, January 2, 2023 at Pinecrest Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm, Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Pinecrest Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
