Connie Janice Goss, 77, of North Little Rock, Ark., went to be with her daughter, Kimberly, on Monday January 10, 2022. Born in Little Rock on February 3, 1944, she was named after the two nurses that delivered her. Janice was married to her loving husband, Steve Goss, for over 44 years. A wonderful mother, grandmother, and soon-to-be great-grandmother, she was also a successful businesswoman. Janice worked for Urban Renewal under Olin Thomas. She then went on to be the Human Resources Director at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Little Rock and Dallas, Texas, where she worked for 21 years prior to retiring early in 1988. She and her husband Steve then moved back to North Little Rock and started two businesses together: GSC properties and River City Motors. Janice graduated from North Little Rock High School in 1962 and continued her education within the regulatory agencies. Janice enjoyed spending time at their favorite vacation place, Destin, Florida, and living in their family home on Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs, Ark. She also enjoyed oil painting and making paintings for her family and friends. In addition to her husband, Steve, Janice is survived by her sons, Eric (Leesa) of Little Rock, Ark, and Brad (Jodie) of Fayetteville, Ark.; grandsons, Justin Adams and Johnathan Dring (Stacy) of Dallas, Texas; and granddaughter, Erika Caldwell of Little Rock; and a sister, Judy Stocker (Ed) of Broken Arrow, Okla. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kimberly Lynn Goss; and brother, Jerry Haynie. Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022, at Rest Hills Memorial Park beginning at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow.
