Patricia Ann (Butler) Teach, "Patty," passed peacefully from this life on Christmas morning, December 25, 2021, at the age of 85. She was born June 4, 1936, in St. Louis, Mo., and grew up in Little Rock, Ark. She was a graduate of Mt. St. Mary Academy, class of 1953. She married Jack Teach on September 12, 1959, and they were married for 45 years until his death in 2004. In 2005, she retired from the Little Rock School District and moved to Dallas to live near her daughter and her family. She became active at St. Mark Catholic Church in Plano, but her favorite role was as full-time grandma to her three grandchildren, attending countless soccer, baseball, basketball and football games. Patty is survived by her daughter, Caryn (Mark) Shepherd; and three grandchildren: Zack (Sabrina) Shepherd of Austin, Texas, Ben Shepherd, and Abby Shepherd. She is also survived by her brother, Paul Butler; and sister, Sharon (Rex) Johnson. She is predeceased by her husband, Jack Teach; and her parents, John William and Genevieve Butler. There will be a funeral mass on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 6219 Baseline Road, Little Rock, Ark., 72209. Please affoplano.com to send condolences and sign questbook.
