George Wayne Rhodes

George Wayne Rhodes, 78, of Fayetteville passed away Monday, June 27, 2022. He was born August 19, 1943 in Petersburg, Texas, the son of Oren Dee and Ruth Mae Rhodes. He was preceded in death by his parents; his former wives Ann Rhodes and Julia Rhodes; his brothers, Laydell, Skeet, Harold, and Don Rhodes; and sister Jewel Ruth and Orene Loyd. Wayne is survived by his wife, Suzanne Rhodes; sister, Margie Smith; daughter, Dawn Madrid; and son, Wayne Rhodes II; two grandchildren; a great-grandson; and several nephews and nieces. He was a member of Fellowship Fayetteville and noted for his servanthood and humility. Visitation will be held Friday, July 1 at Fellowship Fayetteville from 3-5 p.m. A celebration of Wayne's life will be held Saturday, July 2 at 2 p.m. at Fellowship Fayetteville.
