CECIL JUNE (WILSON) GRIFFITH, 90, of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, June 30, 2022. She was born in Lillie, La., to James Elijah Wilson and Zelma Cecil Finley. She was a member of First Assembly of God in North Little Rock. June worked as a nurse at Booneville State Sanitorium, Camarillo State Hospital, California then moved to Little Rock in 1972 where she worked at Baptist for two years, and retired from the VA Hospital in 1997. June was an avid reader and had a passion for learning; as well as quilting, knitting and collecting all kind of treasures. She had a strong work ethic and tried to do her best. She was kind, and caring with a keen since of humor. June will be fondly remembered for her saying, "I'll see you in the Funny Pages, on the animal side." She was preceded in death by her parents; the fathers of her children; her brother, Vernon Wilson; sister, Velma Wilson Ledbetter; and daughter, Shelia Dove Randolph. She is survived by two sons, Paul Crouch (Nancy) of Beeville, Texas, Bill Bradshaw, of Timberon, N.M.; three daughters, Portia Davis (John) of North Little Rock, Ark., Janie Knappenberger of Port Hueneme, Calif.; Carolyn Bishop (Joey) of Sherwood, Ark.; 18 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren. A visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. There will be a private burial at Elmwood Cemetery, Morrilton.
