Marie L. Smith, 89, of Searcy passed from this life on July 1, 2022, with her family by her side. She was born in Little Rock, on September 5, 1932, to her parents George Paul and Rosalie Bright Kaufman. Mrs. Smith was a member of the Downtown Church of Christ for many years.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William R. Smith; one brother, and two sisters.
She is survived by Mike (Beverly) Smith, Mitzi (Charles) Cannon and Sylvia (Mark) Haile; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren along with other extended family members and friends.
Marie is well known around the Searcy area because she owned and operated the Searcy Florist since 1982.
Services for Ms. Marie will be on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, with visitation to be at 9-10 a.m. at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel followed by a Graveside service at White County Memorial Gardens at 10:30 a.m. The family has requested that Memorials may be made to the Sparrow's Promise, Searcy, or a charity of your choice.
