Wade Prichard Junior, 88, of Benton, Ark., died Wednesday, June 29, 2022.
He was born October 17, 1933, in Benton to Wade Machinery Prichard and Helen Gertrude Prichard. He proudly served in the United State Navy and participated in the Korean War. Upon his return home he lived and worked in West Helena for time but ultimately settled back in Benton and had a long and successful career at Alcoa Corporation. He was an avid outdoors man and loved to deer hunt. He greatly enjoyed hunting with his son Adam and also his two grandchildren. He spent a large amount of time with his grandchildren and enjoyed his retirement with them.
He was proceeded in death by his parents; sister, Jackie Winemiller; sister, Betty Bodiford; sister, Frances Hall; sister Shirley George; and son Steve Prichard.
Survivors include wife, Yvonne Prichard; son, Adam Prichard and wife Kristina; grandson, Taylor Prichard; grandson, Preston Prichard; sister, Glenda Goodwin; and brother, James Prichard, all of Benton. He also has many nieces and nephews he loved dearly.
Visitation will be held at Ashby's Funeral home in Benton Wednesday, July 6, from 6-8 p.m.
Service will be Thursday the 7th at 10 a.m. followed by a graveside service at Forest Hills cemetery.
