James Robert "Jim" Barrett, age 78, passed away Friday, July 1, 2022. Jim was born on February 23, 1944, to his mother, Elsie, and father, Glover Barrett, in Jasper County, Mississippi. Jim proudly served his country and retired from a 21 year career with the U.S. Air Force. For more than 20 years he owned and operated Jim's Shuttle Express and, for a time, Jim's Centerton Café. He was a kind, caring person who would help anyone who needed help. But, his greatest joy and pride was spending time with his family. Services will be held Thursday, July 7, 2022, at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville. Visitation will be from 9:30-11:30 a.m., and Funeral service beginning at 11:30.
