Patsy LaPrade Watts Frost was born on December 26, 1932, to Evelyn Bowers Watts and William A. (Lonnie) Watts in Kansas City, Mo. She and her parents moved from Memphis and settled in Little Rock where she attended Mount St. Mary Academy for her high school years. Patsy attended UALR for her freshman year before transferring to the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, where she enjoyed her Chi Omega sorority sisters. She was named Sweetheart of Sigma Chi and married Jack Frost in December 1952. Patsy was a wonderful mother and a supportive partner to Jack. She adored her two daughters, Becky and Tricia, and never missed participating in their school and extra-curricular activities. She always prepared a big breakfast and encouraged her family of four to sit down together before leaving for school and work. Patsy was a member of First United Methodist Church, PEO Chapter AZ, Scattered Seeds Garden Club and volunteered at various charitable organizations. She belonged to several bridge groups, loved mah jongg, which she enjoyed playing with her daughters, and played bingo twice a week at Woodland Heights, winning candy bars and giving them to all of her grandchildren. Patsy is survived by her two daughters, Becky Good (Steve) and Tricia Chaffin (Stephen); five grandchildren, Beverly Good Oliver, Christopher Good, Patrick Chaffin, Alex Chaffin (Rachel), Matthew Chaffin (Ashley); and two great-granddaughters, Margot and Josephine Oliver. We will be forever grateful to her second family, Caregivers Linda Johnson, Erma Jean McKenzie, and Stella Cupps. A celebration of Patsy Frost's life will be held at First United Methodist Church (8th and Center) on Friday, July 8th at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation of your choice to First United Methodist Church, Mount St. Mary Academy, or the Humane Society of Pulaski County
