Amy F Claxton

Amy F. Claxton, 67, of Little Rock passed away on June 28, 2022. She was born on April 22, 1955, in Forrest City, Ark., to Virginia and Dwain Claxton. She is predeceased by her father, Dwain Claxton; and brother Robert Claxton. Amy graduated from Hendrix College, where she was a member of the choir. She went on to receive her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Georgia. She is retired from the North Little Rock School District, where she was the School Psychologist Specialist. She was also a member to the First United Methodist Church Choir. Memorials should be made in her name to Hendrix College Choir for The Robert McGill Scholarship. A memorial service will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church on Friday July 8, 2022 at 2 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of RuebelFuneralHome.com
