Jarrell F. Davis

Jarrell F. Davis, 78, of Greenland, Ark., passed away Monday, July 4, 2022, in Springdale. He was born August 23, 1943, in Kansas City, Mo., to Eugene and Gladys Caudle Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Ben and Darrell Davis; and a granddaughter, Kaylie Davis. Jarrell was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from Standard Register after 38 years. He enjoyed working for seven years as a courier after his retirement. Jarrell enjoyed hunting. He was an avid Arkansas Razorback fan. He was a baseball and basketball season ticket holder (a season ticket holder at Barnhill Arena since it had a dirt floor). Jarrell was an avid reader and an expert "piddler". He is survived by his wife, Michelle Tucker Davis, of the home; a daughter, Jarrellyn Davis Martin and husband Michael of Springdale; a son, Patrick Davis and wife Tammy of Summers, Ark.; a daughter, Misha Helm and husband Josh of Fayetteville; two brothers, Charles Davis and wife Cindy, and Terry Davis and wife K.C.; a sister, Connie Green and husband Stan; seven grandchildren, Zachary Martin, Trace Martin, Makayla Davis, Garrett Powell, Baley McClellan, Taylor Davis, and Thatcher Helm; his Georgia family, Joyce, Mitch, Amber and Shelby Tucker, and Mike and Vicky Moody; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends from 2-4 Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Beard's Chapel. Funeral services will be 10 p.m. Monday, July 11, 2022, at Beard's Chapel with Jon Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Baptist Ford Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Highlands Oncology for their loving care and support of Jarrell.
