Donna Faye Mathys, age 73, of Mabelvale, Ark., passed away on July 6, 2022. She was born on December 31, 1948, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Carl Cecil and Sylvia Marie Voegele. Donna loved going on cruises, traveling, and reading. She also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends. Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Carl Cecil and Sylvia Marie Voegele. Donna is survived by her husband, Charles Mathys; her children, Brandi Payne (John) and Donnie Hutchinson (Crystal); her grandchildren, Taylor Mackenzie Mize, Georgia Madison Shellnut (Scotty), Matthew Benton Mize, Courtney Jones (Larry), Hunter Payne (Skyla), Savannah Hartwick, Emerie Hutchinson, and Bentley Cruz Hutchinson; her great-grandchildren, Lawson Wayne Shellnut, Brooklyn Jones, Parklynn Payne, and Georgia Kate Shellnut on the way; and her sister, Rona Mantooth (Earl).
Visitation will be held at noon, on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at Lifeline Baptist Church. Followed by a memorial service at 12:30 P.M.
