Susan Paulette Clendening went to be with her Lord July 9, 2022, at her home in Little Rock, Ark., at the age of 71.
She was born August 7, 1950. She was the daughter to William 'Billy' Young and Frances Young-Brimer and the wife to Joseph Clendening for 44 years. Susan was the anchor to her family and her faith in Jesus was very outspoken. She enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids for Sunday dinners.
Susan is survived by two siblings, Vickie (Ronnie) Pendley of North Little Rock and Pamela (Homer) Surrett of Little Rock; her children, Eva Lucas of Cabot, Rhonda (Eddy) Williams of Hensley, Andrew Clendening (Ashley) of Little Rock and Joseph Clendening III of Little Rock, 14 grandkids and seven great-grandkids and many nieces and nephews who loved her greatly. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, sister and two brothers.
Visitation will take place Friday July 15, 2022, at 10 a.m., with the funeral services to follow at 11 a.m. at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock. Pastor Tracy Shelton will officiate. Graveside services will be at Hamilton Cemetery located in Carlisle, Ark. Flowers and condolences may be offered at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home.
