John Bruce Krifka

John Bruce Krifka, 76, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Thursday, July 7, 2022, at a skilled nursing facility. He was born June 7, 1946, in St. Louis, Mo., the son of Celestine and Frank Krifka. John was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Bentonville. He was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, where he graduated in 1970. He was also an assistant VP for Chiquita Banana Foods before retiring. John loved sports and attending his son's many events. He enjoyed travelling and living life to its fullest. He was preceded in death by his parents. John is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lee McGregor Krifka of Bella Vista; son, John Krifka II of Bella Vista; brother, Donn Krifka and his wife Shirley of St. Louis, Mo.; sister-in-law, Linda Horvath and her husband Philip of Naperville, Illinois; nieces and nephews, Stephanie Krifka, Jessica Brock, and her husband Mike, Philip Horvath and his wife Sheena; great-nieces and great-nephews, Luke and JP Brock, and Scottie, Colt and Tate Horvath. A visitation will be Saturday, July 23, from 12-1 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Bentonville, with a celebration of John's life to follow at 1:00pm.
