Margaret Miller Baker, 88, of Huntsville, Ark., passed away at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Ark., on July 10, 2022. She was born on July 28, 1933, in Earle, Ark., to George and Clara Miller. Margaret grew up on a farm near Earle and married Lionel (Bill) Baker shortly after they graduated from high school. Margaret and Bill lived most of their adult lives in Earle where they raised two sons, Phillip and Stan. Margaret was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker and also was a bookkeeper for several businesses in the Earle area. She loved to visit with family and friends and her kitchen table was the forum for countless happy debates and discussions. In her retirement Margaret was an avid reader and plowed through a good portion of all the libraries nearby. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; Bill, her husband of 62 years; three brothers, G.W., Fred, and Larry; three sisters, Mary, Ruth, and Betty. She is survived by her two sons, Phillip (Oteeka) Baker of Huntsville, Ark., and Stanley (Deborah) Baker of Kansas City, Mo.; her grandson, Aidan (Samantha) Baker of Chicago, Illinois, and her sister, Nelda (Roger) of Benton, Ark., as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be at 1 p.m., on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, Ark., and will be followed by a memorial service in the chapel officiated by the Reverend Georgia Senor. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery near Conway.
