He is survived by his daughter, Tammie Noah; and his sons, Billie McGarrah, Dobby McGarrah, Jeffery McGarrah, and Ira Dwayne Cook; 13 grandchildren, Amy Noah, DeDra Noah, Rebecka Spann, Dason Spann, Shawn McGarrah, Shannon McGarrah, Megan Taylor, Miranda McGarrah, Larisa Pack, Matthew McGarrah, Tasha Mitchell, Josh McGarrah, and Angie Cook; and 33 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Martha A. McGarrah; son James Delaney Cook; grandchild, Jessie McGarrah; his father Jay McGarrah; and mother, Goldie Baker McGarrah.
