Mary Alice "Cookie" Ferguson

Mary Alice "Cookie" Ferguson, 85, of Pearcy, joined the Church Triumphant on July 10, 2022. She was born September 6, 1936, in Deere, Ark., to John and Marvell McElhaney. Cookie was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, William (Sonny) Cooke of Mountain Home. Loving survivors include her husband of 65 years, Larry Ferguson, of Pearcy; daughter, Valerie Jackson, of Pearcy; son, Scott (Darlene) Ferguson, of Waipahu, HI; daughter, Dianne "Dede" Hemphill, of Castle Rock, Colo.; grandchildren, Seth Jackson, Morgan (Mandy) Jackson, Heath Jackson, Scott Kapono Ferguson, Daisy Hemphill, Anna Hemphill, and two great-grandchildren; sister, Billye Moore, of Sand Springs, Okla.; and brother, Ron (Sue) Cooke, of Key West, Fla. A celebration of life will be 10 a.m., Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Piney Grove UMC, 2963 Airport Rd., Hot Springs. Visitation will follow.
