JANICE MARIE DUFF BIGGERS, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away on July 13, 2022, three days after her 96th birthday. Janice was born on July 10, 1926 in St. Louis, Mo., but grew up in Little Rock. As a young woman, during World War II, Janice went to Washington and served the war effort as a secretary in the Department of Navy. After the war, she returned to Little Rock, and married Ernest Biggers, Jr. She had three children: Ann Biggers, Susan Biggers Guillot, and Ernest Biggers, III (Tripp), and was the beloved grandmother of Alex and Amanda Biggers and Albin Guillot, III. In the early 1960s, Janice worked for KARK TV, Channel 4 as a music librarian and even made sure that her daughters and nephews were in commercials from time to time. Janice was a born entrepreneur. She loved real estate and was a successful realtor for many years, as well as the owner of a weight loss business, Diet Center. She was also very successful in property management for many years. Her job took her throughout the United States, until her retirement at age 72. She loved people and enjoyed being out and about. Janice was an amazing woman, mother and grandmother. She dispensed advice to every member of her family and we have all been the better for it. She will be missed each and every day.
