KENNETH HOWARD COLE, JR. was born on July 10, 1962, and went to his heavenly home on July 16, 2022, surrounded by family. Ken is survived by his loving wife, Scarlett Bone Cole; parents, Kenneth Howard Cole Sr. and Beth Cobb Cole; his children, Mackenzie Cole, Marley Cole Hoagland (Colby); bonus children include Jon-Luke Jenkins, and Ava-Kate Jenkins; sister, Tanya Whitfield (Donny); brother, Matt Cole (Harmony); sister-in-law, Stephanie Bone Connelly (Greg); Kim Cole, mother of his children; niece, Bethany Marshall (Andrew); nephews, Bryce Whitfield, Brady Cole, Grant Connelly, Jake Connelly, Clark Connelly; and special friends Julie Williams, Rick Martinez and Chet Cheaney. Ken accepted Jesus at the age of seven and was baptized at Keo Baptist church in Keo, Arkansas. He was a member of Pinnacle Valley Church of Christ in Little Rock, Ark. Ken was a 1980 Valedictorian of England Academy where he played football and basketball for the Rebels. In 1984, he graduated from University of Central Arkansas with a BBA in Accounting followed by a Master's degree in Hospital Administration from University of Arkansas in Little Rock. Ken was a proud member of Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity. Ken worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield as a Project Manager of Collaborative Initiatives for the past 35 years, until his retirement in 2020. Ken had many favorite hobbies which included running, cycling attending rock concerts and beach trips with family and friends, however is favorite activity was cheering on his beloved Arkansas Razorbacks. Ken grew even closer to the Lord when in June 2020, he was diagnosed with Glioblastoma. He never complained why is life took this direction and used his time showing others how faith in Jesus Christ was the only way to make it through his life. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 20, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19, at the funeral home. A private entombment will be held at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway, Ark. In lieu of flowers, the family asked that memorials be made to Keo Baptist Church.
