Daniel passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at his home in Shongaloo, La. He was born August 15, 1984, to Shelby Harper and Kim Schrock Harper in Monroe, La. He loved fishing, hunting, floating rivers, and backroading. If there was a scenic way, Daniel was taking it. He was raised in the Hope/Washington area, but left his tracks all over Arkansas and Louisiana. He took pride in his work as a heavy equipment operator and was very skilled. He could entertain anyone with his adventures and stories. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, William "Bill" Schrock of Oak Grove, LA and Waynon and Modine Harper of Goodwill, La. He is survived by his fiancee, Alana Cannon of Shongaloo, La.; loving children Chloe, Cadence, and Caleb of Shongaloo, La.; parents, Kim and Shelby Harper of Washington, Ark.; grandmother, JoAnn Schrock of Oak Grove, La.; brother, Justyn (Emily) Harper of Spring Hill, Ark.; sister, Paige Harper of Cabot, Ark.; uncles, Mark (Teresa) Schrock of Sterlington, La, Scott (Lana) Schrock of Oak Grove, La., Bobby (Mary) Harper of Goodwill, La., and Carl Harper of Oak Grove, L.; aunt, Linda Faye Harper of Goodwill, La.; nephew, Luke; nieces, Lucy and Lyla of Spring Hill, Ark.; countless cousins and friends who Daniel shared a special bond and loved dearly. He was one of a kind and will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home of Hope to help cover the expenses or to a charity in Daniel's memory. Visitation is scheduled 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home in Hope. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2022, in the Chapel with Bro. Eric Fisher officiating. Interment to follow at Washington Cemetery.
