Jill Colleen Madick

Jill Colleen Madick, 66, passed away peacefully at her home July 16, 2022. She was born May 14, 1956, in Orange, Calif., to Merl and Jean Fortney. She was united in marriage on June 8, 1975, to Mike Madick. They relocated to Rogers in 1982. Together with Mike, they owned and operated Madick Carpet Care, and raised their two boys. Later in life, she became interested in banking and started a career with First Federal Bank. She began as a teller and worked her way up to Assistant Vice President of Commercial lending. She finished her career at the Benton County Clerk's Office. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. Mike, her husband of 37 years, was the love of her life and her true companion. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Jill was preceded in death by her parents, Merl and Jean Fortney; her brother, Bruce Fortney; and her husband, Mike Madick. She is survived by two sons, Justin (Leslie), and Kyle (Kathy), and two grandsons, Garrett and Clayton. A Graveside Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 21, 2022, in Benton County Memorial Park at 1 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Rd., Springdale, Ark., 72762.
