Luther G. Bryant

Luther G. Bryant, of Springfield, Ark., passed away on July 15, 2022, in his home with family by his side. Luther was born on April 8, 1934, in Center Ridge, Arkansas, the son of Thomas Jefferson and Weda Mae Bryant. He married his wife of 68 years Wanda (Williams) Bryant in 1954. He is a member of Harding Street Church of Christ, and a former Elder at Formosa Church of Christ. Luther is survived his wife, Wanda Bryant of Springfield, his sons, Russell Bryant and his wife K.C., and Mark Bryant and his wife Jodi, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and five sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother, a sister, and two brothers-in-laws. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022, from 10 to 11 a.m., at Harding Street Church of Christ, 906 E. Harding Street, Morrilton, Arkansas, 72110. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., in the church, with Charles Bane officiating. Committal services and burial will follow in Pleasant Hills Cemetery in Center Ridge, Arkansas, beginning around 1 p.m. Luther's family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to either Arkansas Hospice or the Southern Christian Home in Morrilton.
