Johnny Wayne Jones, 68, of Grove, Okla., originally from Bentonville/Rogers Ark., passed away Saturday July 16, 2022, at his home.
Johnny was born in Branson, Mo., on April 2, 1954, to Dorothy Summer Jones and Edwin Eugene Jones.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sandy (Cox) Jones. He has two daughters from previous marriages, two daughters from current marriage, Cortnie Caylene Jones-Parson and husband Damon Parson of Huntsville, Ark., Whitnie Cathlene Jones-Cole, husband Dion Cole, of Van Buren, Ark.; three grandchildren, Cailyn Parson, Nevaeh Cole, Jaidon Cole; as well as five living siblings (one brother preceded him in death).
Johnny was semi-retired and had been in the upholstery industry from 1984-2022. He enjoyed his family, faith in Jesus, joking with friends, and generally enjoyed life. He was loved by many.
His celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Hickory Grove Church, 24081 S 590 Rd., Grove, Okla. Cards, flowers, or plants can be sent to Hickory Grove Church, in care of Sandy Jones, or donations to St. Jude's Hospital in memory of Johnny Jones.
