Zackary Thomas Vermillion

Zackary Thomas Vermillion, was born December 20, 2012, in Pine Bluff, Ark., to Kayla Harris and Zackary Vermillion Sr. Zackary took the hand of Jesus Christ and walked through the gates of heaven at the age of nine on July 14, 2022. He was met by his great-grandmother, Judy Harris, his aunt, Jessica Harris, his great-grandparents, Orvel and Barbara Vermillion, Allie Jones, Thomas Welch and Billy and Sue Kesterson. Zackary was a fun, loving, sweet, kind, carrying and smart young man. He loved his family unconditionally. He was his mother's protector, and he was his mother's solider. Zackary enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, baseball, basketball, and loved working on any and everything even if it wasn't broke, he still fixed it. He enjoyed going on wrecker calls with Doug and Zack and although he enjoyed riding on the big truck, Zack really liked dirt bikes. Zackary attended G.R. Taylor Elementary School in White Hall. Zackary leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Kayla Harris Ashcraft (Doug); his father, Zackary Vermillion Sr.; his siblings, Zayla, Adan, J.W., Kelsi, Kayli, Sadie, Layton and Emma Kay; great-grandparents, Earl Harris Sr. and Linda Biggs; grandparents, Earl Harris Jr. (Carrie), Joel and Stacy Vermillion, Bobbie Kesterson, Karen Rivera; his MeMe and Papa, Marsha Harris and Robert Roberts; his nana, Cassie Cantwell; aunts and uncles, Lacie Harris (Chris), Logan Harris (Ashley), Samuel Pope(Ashley),and many other aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. Zackary had a bonus dad, Cody Esquivel whom he loved spending time with playing basketball and trying to make a slam dunk yet still beating him. Cody would take Zackary to work with him where Zackary was super excited and proud to make $12 and spending it wisely as he says. (On Candy and Junk Food.) Zackary left an everlasting impression on the lives of all those he met and loved. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. Zackary will be riding out wild and free on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 2 p.m., at Fuller Hale South Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Cottrell officiating.
