Martin Ferguson

MARTIN FERGUSON of Little Rock, father of Theodore Ferguson, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. He died peacefully in bed of natural causes. Martin grew up in Wynne, Ark., where he maintained ties all his life. He was a proud graduate of Wynne High school and Arkansas State University, and a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Martin was loved by many and had friends like most people have family. Martin valued being Teddy's father more than anything in the world. Father and son were each other's best friends. Martin supported everything that Teddy did, and he was so proud of all that Teddy accomplished. They shared their passion for the Arkansas State Red Wolves (and definitely not for the Razorbacks). Martin's earthly remains are to be laid to rest next to those of his beloved mother of blessed memory in his native Wynne, Ark., in a private service. A memorial gathering is scheduled for Sunday, July 31, at 11 a.m., at Congregation Temple Bnai Israel in Little Rock, 3700 North Rodney Parham Road. Attendees will be required to wear masks during the service. In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Chris Crye Scholarship fund at Arkansas State University, or the charity of your choice.
