Al Crumby, of Cave Springs, Ark., left this earth to enter Heaven on Friday, July 29, 2022. He leaves a wife, Kathleen; two sons: James (Kimberly) and Chad (Bettina); five grandchildren: Caleb, Caroline, Kearstin, Karissa, and Nathaniel; and one sister, Annette. Al was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Louise Crumby of Elaine, Ark.; one sister, Susan Crumby of Springdale; and one grand-daughter, Hannah Grace Crumby, of Springdale. Al was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. His life centered around God, family, and church. He loved gospel music and was a member of the Worship Choir and Saints Alive Choir at First Baptist Rogers. He was an avid Razorback fan. Al never missed watching Hog football, basketball, or baseball on TV. He was the loudest supporter of his grandchildren, whether they were playing football, basketball, baseball, soccer, or dancing at a dance recital. Al was a longtime softball player on the Baring Cross Baptist Church team up into his 50's. After retiring from playing, he coached the team. When he moved to Springdale, he spent time watching his son play for the softball team from First Baptist Rogers. Al always kept God in the center of his life and exhibited Godly Christian qualities to everyone he met. The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to the music ministry at First Baptist Church Rogers in memory of Al Crumby. Visitation for Al will be from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Monday, August 1, at First Baptist Rogers, Pleasant Grove Campus. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 1, at First Baptist Church Rogers, Pleasant Grove Campus with interment to follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville, Ark. Arrangements by Epting Funeral Home of Bentonville. Condolences: www.eptingfuneralhome.webs.com.
