David G. Johnson, 70, of Greenbrier, Ark., went to his heavenly home on Friday, July 29, 2022. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. David was a man who loved the Lord, his family, his church, the St. Louis Cardinals, and New York Yankees. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, playing softball, and cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks. David was retired from Arkansas Farm Bureau and was currently serving as Pastor of Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Bee Branch, Ark.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sue Johnson; father, Uriel Lee Johnson; and mother, Montine Johnson.
He is survived by his sons, David Mark Johnson and Brent Lee Johnson (Anna); sister, Virginia Moore (Bob); brother, Uriel Johnson (Judy); and granddaughters, Addie and Brynlee.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark., 72211. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. at South City Church, 10710 I-30 W, Little Rock, Ark., 72209. The burial service will be held at Forest Hills Cemetery in Alexander, Ark.
